Although conventional wisdom holds that humans need eight, 8-ounce glasses of water each day, the truth is a little more complicated. According to The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, an adequate daily fluid intake is about 125 ounces (3.7 liters) for men and about 91 ounces (2.7 liters) for women. However, keep in mind that these fluid intake guidelines include all sources of water, not just glasses of the stuff. In fact, we get about 20 percent of our daily water from what we eat, especially fruits and vegetables.

The truth is that when it comes to hydration, one size does not fit all. There are many factors that should influence an individual’s daily water intake, including where you live, your activity level, and your overall health. So while there is no scientific evidence that supports the “8x8 rule,” staying hydrated is still important. The best advice is to trust your own body, and when you’re thirsty, reach for water first.

The more you drink its good for your health. Water has zero calories and helps in weight losss. If you are good eater try to have a galss of water 20 min before meal. It will reduce high food intake. And drinking water in empty stomach is the best way to start a day

The rate of drinking water depends on the weight of your body. This is usually 3% of your weight. Suppose you weigh 60 kg, then your norm is 1.8 liters of fluid per day. But! I think everything is much simpler: 1. When you’re thirsty, drink. 2. When you’re not thirsty anymore, stop. 3. During high heat and exercise, make sure to drink enough to compensate for the lost fluids.

It's recommended to drink not less that 2 liters of water a day. Usually I start my day with a glass of water on an empty stomach. Highly recommended!

Yes, you need to drink 8 glasses per day, it's good if you can drink more than that, it helps you in your various stomach problems also makes your skin shinner and glowing. Start your day with one glass of warm water, it Prevents constipation, aids, helps in digestion flushes/clears out the kidney toxins and fat deposit in the intestine through the urinary region. It helps in increasing our blood circulation.

While it is a good idea (because, you kinda need to stay hydrated), you won't die if you don't. So, no, although I strongly recommend it.

Well basicly yes, because You've probably heard the advice, "Drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water a day." That's easy to remember, and it's a reasonable goal. Most healthy people can stay hydrated by drinking water and other fluids whenever they feel thirsty. For some people, fewer than eight glasses a day might be enough

You don’t necessarily need to drink eight glasses of water per day. Your needs are based on your size, physical activity, environmental temperature and other factors. It depends on how thirsty you are. On a hot day when you working outside, you can drink the equivalent of more than eight glasses of water.
